Christmas Charities

Our Christmas Charities Program is our biggest charitable effort. Founded three decades ago, the program started as a way to provide food for a handful of local families. Now it has grown to include 130 local families in need. Every Christmas Eve, we deliver each family enough food to last two weeks, which includes canned goods, bread, milk, eggs, and fresh produce. Also included are soap, laundry detergent, and paper products. Each family with children is given toys for the kids as well, thanks to our partnership with Toys For Tots and Elk donations. Families come out every year as a part of their holiday tradition to help those who are less fortunate in our community. It takes a tremendous amount of work and planning to make it happen, so plan on lending a hand next December.
